چکیده

1 day before their coronary arteriogram. The prevalence of coronary stenoses 2 70% was 86% in 87 men with typical angina, 65% in 64 men with probable angina, and 28% in 49 men with nonspecific chest pain (p < 0.001). Among the 117 men who had coronary disease and probable or typical angina, there was more three-vessel (32% vs 7%;p = 0.06) and proximal left coronary disease (41% vs 14%;p < 0.05) than among the 14 men with coronary lesions and nonspecific chest pain. Prevalence, extent and location of coronary stenoses, therefore, were different among the clinical subsets. The predictive value of a positive test in any one of 14 leads was 45% (nine of 20) in men with nonspecific chest pain vs 82% (36 of 44) in men with probable angina and 100% (65 of 65) in men with typical angina (p < 0.001). The predictive value of a negative test in 14 leads was 83% (24 of 29) in men with nonspecific chest pain vs 70% (14 of 20) in men with probable angina and 55% (12 of 22) in men with typical angina (NS). In men with probable or typical angina, 92% (33 of 36) of those with a positive test and treadmill work time 360 seconds had multivessel disease; only one man in 40 with a negative test in 14 leads and treadmill work time > 540 seconds had three-vessel disease. The diagnostic impact of maximal treadmill testing using 14 ECG leads is greatest in men with typical and probable angina. In these two clinical subsets the presence or absence of horizontal or downsloping ST-segment depression 1 mm, ST-segment elevation > 1 mm, or a slowly upsloping ST-segment depression > 2

The Significance of B-cell Subsets in Patients with Unclassified Hypogammaglobulinemia and Association with Intravenous Immunoglobulin Replacement Requirement

Background: Patients with unclassified hypogammaglobulinemia (UCH) constitute a diagnostic and therapeutic dilemma, because information concerning the clinical and immunological characteristics of these patients is insufficient. Objective: To evaluate B-cell subsets in cases with UCH and common variable immunodeficiency (CVID) and their association with treatment requirement in UCH patients. Me...

representation theorems of $L-$subsets and $L-$families on complete residuated lattice

In this paper, our purpose is twofold. Firstly, the tensor andresiduum operations on $L-$nested systems are introduced under thecondition of complete residuated lattice. Then we show that$L-$nested systems form a complete residuated lattice, which isprecisely the classical isomorphic object of complete residuatedpower set lattice. Thus the new representation theorem of$L-$subsets on complete re...

Suppressive Mechanisms Induced by Tregs in Celiac Disease

Celiac disease (CD) is a systemic immune-mediated disorder caused by the dietary gluten in individuals who are genetically susceptible to the disease. In fact, CD is a T cell-mediated immune disease in which gluten-derived peptides activate the lamina propria CD4+ Teff cells, and these T-cell subsets can cause the intestinal tissue damages. Also, there are additional subsets of CD4+ T cells wit...

Reference Values of Lymphocyte Sub-Populations in Healthy Human Immunodeficiency Virus-Negative Iranian Adults

Background: Lymphocyte subsets enumeration is considered prominent in the management of primary and acquired immunodeficiency disorders. Because of local variations due to race, age, gender, and environmental conditions on lymphocyte subsets, and to improve the accuracy of interpretation of laboratory findings, reference intervals must be determined in every population. Objective: To establish ...

SOME REMARKS ON GENERALIZATIONS OF MULTIPLICATIVELY CLOSED SUBSETS

Let R be a commutative ring with identity and Mbe a unitary R-module. In this paper we generalize the conceptmultiplicatively closed subset of R and we study some propertiesof these genaralized subsets of M. Among the many results in thispaper, we generalize some well-known theorems about multiplicativelyclosed subsets of R to these generalized subsets of M. Alsowe show that some other well-kno...
